QUEMC performs Electromagnetic Compatibility and Quality engineering works. We are a pioneer company born in Portugal and working worldwide. We are mostly focused on EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) studies for complex projects like railway projects, where the safe operation and the availability of command, control and communication systems are critical.

We perform electromagnetic field measurements for the evaluation of human exposure to reference limits (health and safety purposes, from 1Hz to 9GHz: magnetic and electrical fields), under EU regulation 2013/35/EC, national regulations, EU recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Recommendation or ECC Recommendation (02) 04.

We have our own test equipment for EMC surveys and electromagnetic field measurements, capable of performing insitu measurements for radiated disturbances, conducted disturbances, voltage and current harmonics.

Our contribution to EMC projects in which we are involved mostly require a deep participation in the project design phases so that our suggestions and requirements are taken into account for the project development.

Who We Are: Quemc was founded by Luis Meneres and Roberto Menna Barreto in 1999. Quemc customers are companies from 4 to 4000 workers. We are involved in projects in Algeria, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Dubai, England, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Norway, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain. Currently QUEMC has offices in Portugal (where QUEMC is a trade mark owned by a local company PCA, managed by Luis Meneres) and in Brasil (where QEMC is a local company, managed by Roberto Menna Barreto).
